We are looking for a good solid Professional Services Solutions Architect who has strong customer facing skills. The ideal candidate will be coming out of a professional services organization of a solution or software vendor. This person will be responsible for the implementation, installation, customization and configuration of platform solutions, to customers across a variety of industries. This person must have strong communication and presentation skills and be comfortable meeting with clients, gathering requirements, presenting solutions, creating Statements of Work (SOW)s, identifying up-selling opportunities within existing projects, providing on-site training for clients, project management, document creation, and helping to get customers to sign off on business contracts.

- POSITION: Marketing Guru. You will be part of the core executive team, basically acting as the CMO. Client does not plan to hire a CMO. You will report to the head of the new venture arm directly. You will be part of the core executive team, basically acting as the CMO although your title may be Vice President or Director. Title depends upon experience. You will only have 4-5 people reporting to you initially.
COMPANY: A fast growing, independently operated private equity/venture division of a privately held multi-billion dollar global media conglomerate, with major businesses in publishing, education, multi-media and online content. With less than 100 employees, the Private Equity Group will be making strategic acquisitions to fulfill the company’s mission of building a new ecosystem for the creation, distribution, and monetization of educational content. The Group plans on building a portfolio that will generate in excess of a quarter of a billion dollars of revenue over the next few years, with investments and acquisitions in established companies, start-ups, and nextgen technologies. Permeating the culture, and set directly by the corporation’s CEO, is the goal to promote global culture, broad access to education, and the development of humanity.
LOCATION: Company is headquartered in NYC. Working remotely is an option. Candidates must already live within commuting distance to New York City or be flexible to work remotely. If you need to work remotely, then you will probably be required to travel at least 20% of the time.
COMPENSATION: Client is willing and able to put together the best compensation package in order to attract the best candidate. Compensation package includes base, bonus, profit sharing, 401k and full benefits package. (This company is the venture arm of a global conglomerate, so the benefits package is incredible.)
MANAGEMENT STYLE/CORPORATE CULTURE: Position reports to the VP & GM of the new venture arm of a global conglomerate. This business unit has just under a hundred employees at this time. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have recent and significant experience in a marketing leadership position at a subscription based, online company with responsibility for Online Marketing, Direct Marketing, Email Marketing Campaigns, Multi-varied Testing, Analytics, Customer Segmentation, CRM, SEO, SEM, Loyalty & Retention Marketing along with Traditional Marketing, Event Planning, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, etc.
- Must have significant experience and history of success in marketing leadership roles at consumer-facing internet companies with a subscription based business. Client will consider hiring a “rising star” in addition to candidates who already have significant experience at the executive level.
- Prefer candidates with Freemium experience, social media and/or digital media experience.
- Prefer candidates with experience and/or interest in the online education space. Client has a strong preference toward someone who has marketed a pure play digital product. Need someone with a ton of energy, can juggle a lot of things at once and wear multiple hats. Need someone who can come in and define best practices across the group. Need someone who is very strategic, creative and collaborative. Client wants someone he can “white board” strategy with.
- Must be able to develop, articulate and execute engagement and monetization strategy. Must be able to figure out how to at least double customer engagement and monetization. Enhance and optimize customer segmentation with predictive models. Drive innovation and development of customer engagement lifecycle contact strategy to increase productivity of customer database and ensure marketing effectiveness.
- Must be able to scope and develop business rules and data attribution for implementation of real-time optimization to support personalized content and product merchandising via website and email.
- Must be able to develop acquisition and marketing strategy to support international initiatives.
- Must have a history of quota achievement and a track record of success. Need marketers who have a demonstrated record of online results.
- Need someone who enjoys the entrepreneurial atmosphere of a small company, but has been through the experience of scaling up an enterprise to significant organization size and revenues. Experience working in a dynamic (i.e. “startup”) environment is preferred.
- Must be a great leader, strong manager and focus on hiring and developing top talent. Position Description Established, SaaS-based messaging solutions company seeks an experienced new business development and sales executive with past experience selling enterprise-grade products or services to C-level and technical executives at mid-sized companies within the telecommunications, healthcare, government, education or utility
verticals. Must have a proven track record of locating, cultivating, defining, negotiating and closing new business opportunities. Primary responsibilities will include direct sales/new business development and management of an outsourced lead generation company.
Redevelopment position within the telecommunications, healthcare, government, education or automation software (e.g. Salesforce.com, HighRise, SugarCRM, e Degree in business or related field from an accredited College/University. MBA, a plus
Develops qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face meetings, e-implementation and management of plan to target new business and meet or exceed sales s and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-professional-grade proposals, presentations, and RFP responses for senior business and vely and makes recommendations to prospects and gathering requirements, negotiating agreements, negotiating terms and pricing, and integrating agreement requirements with business operations
intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, and pipeline and forecast reports for monthly Mandirection & actively contribute to m-motivate and drive toward achievement of goals while also being able to work well on a team
communication, and ability to engage customers both over the phone and in-to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate a high customer relationships and ensure high levels of cusConversant in Microsoft Office Suite, WebEx, GoTo Meeting, Skype, and market-leading Sales Automation Software (e.g. Salesforce)
