The ideal candidate will be coming out of a professional services organization of a solution or software vendor.  This person will be responsible for the implementation, installation, customization and configuration of platform solutions,  to customers across a variety of  industries.  This person must have strong communication and presentation skills and be comfortable meeting with clients, gathering requirements, presenting solutions, creating Statements of Work (SOW)s, identifying up-selling opportunities within existing projects, providing on-site training for clients, project management, document creation, and helping to get customers to sign off on business contracts.</p>

<p>COMPANY:   A fast growing, independently operated private      equity/venture division of a privately held multi-billion dollar global      media conglomerate, with major businesses in publishing, education,      multi-media and online content.  With less than 100 employees, the      Private Equity Group will be making strategic acquisitions to fulfill the      company’s mission of building a new ecosystem for the creation,      distribution, and monetization of educational content.  The Group      plans on building a portfolio that will generate in excess of a quarter of      a billion dollars of revenue over the next few years, with investments and      acquisitions in established companies, start-ups, and nextgen      technologies.  Permeating the culture, and set directly by the      corporation’s CEO, is the goal to promote global culture, broad access to      education, and the development of humanity.</p>
<p>LOCATION: Company is headquartered in NYC.  Working remotely is an      option.  Candidates must already live within commuting distance to      New York City or be flexible to work remotely.  If you need to work      remotely, then you will probably be required to travel at least 20% of the      time.</p>

<p>-         Must have significant experience and history of success in marketing leadership roles at consumer-facing internet companies with a subscription based business.  Client will consider hiring a “rising star” in addition to candidates who already have significant experience at the executive level.</p>
<p>-         Prefer candidates with Freemium experience, social media and/or digital media experience.</p>
<p>-         Prefer candidates with experience and/or interest in the online education space.  Client has a strong preference toward someone who has marketed a pure play digital product.  Need someone with a ton of energy, can juggle a lot of things at once and wear multiple hats.  Need someone who can come in and define best practices across the group.  Need someone who is very strategic, creative and collaborative.  Client wants someone he can “white board” strategy with.</p>
<p>-         Must be able to develop, articulate and execute engagement and monetization strategy.  Must be able to figure out how to at least double customer engagement and monetization.  Enhance and optimize customer segmentation with predictive models.  Drive innovation and development of customer engagement lifecycle contact strategy to increase productivity of customer database and ensure marketing effectiveness.</p>
<p>-         Must be able to scope and develop business rules and data attribution for implementation of real-time optimization to support personalized content and product merchandising via website and email.</p>
