Our Pastors

Reverend Scott D. Brown

The Rev. Scott D. Brown is deeply grateful to serve God with the congregation of the Colts Neck Reformed Church.  Scott has been senior pastor since 1999 and has lead responsibilities in the areas of preaching, vision casting, pastoral care and administration.  He also shares in teaching Bible studies and utilizes his spiritual gifts of encouragement, faith and leadership.  Scott resides in Colts Neck with his wife, Kay, and their three children.  For fun Scott likes to play piano, listen to a variety of music, read, travel and root for the Mets!

Scott graduated from the State University of NY, Albany in 1981 and New Brunswick Theological Seminary in 1985.  Prior to being senior minister, he served as associate minister here at Colts Neck Reformed Church from 1985-1994 and as solo pastor at the Three Bridges (NJ) Reformed Church from 1994-1999.  Scott is past president of the Classis of New Brunswick, the local assembly of 28 Reformed Churches.

Chris grew up in Freehold, NJ and attended youth group occasionally at the Colts Neck Reformed Church when he wasn't busy at his home church.  He is a graduate of Hope College ('01) in Holland, Michigan and New Brunswick Theological Seminary in 2005.  He has worked as a student minister in New Jersey, in an urban ministry internship in Kalamazoo, MI, and as a social worker and counselor at a residential psychiatric facility on the south side of Chicago, before being called to the Colts Neck Reformed Church as the associate minister.
