Wish List
What is the Wish List?
This is a list of items that the Consistory has indicated would be nice, but not absolutely necessary, to have. Therefore, these items are not included in the annual budget. The list is helpful when people indicate that they would like to make a one-time "over and above" gift. Sometimes, instead of putting the gift toward regular expenses or mission giving (yet these are always helpful!), they want to purchase something specific. The Wish List provides a sample of possibilities.
What are some examples of items given through the Wish List?
The list is an eclectic mix of items. Some things that have been given to date include bells, chimes, drums, a digital camera, computer upgrades, a cross for the top of the steeple, and the communion table candle.
How do I make a contribution?
You can speak with either Karen Feeney, the Consistory leader for stewardship and finance, or with Pastor Scott Brown. Sometimes Wish List gifts are given anonymously, sometimes not. While all contributions are greatly appreciated, it is the practice of our congregation not to put up plaques or recognize these gifts with more than a "thank you" in the monthly newsletter.
