Worship

"O come let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!"

The Morning Worship - Sunday 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.

Worship is the food of Christian life. Each week the church family gathers to praise God through word and song. Our worship experience is rooted in the rich tradition of liturgy and preaching in the Reformed Church. Throughout the year, however, the congregation is exposed to innovative and contemporary forms of praise. Just as any meal plan includes variety, so do we affirm and celebrate a variety of worship experiences.  During the summer months (from mid-June through Labor Day) our worship schedule changes to one service only at 9:15 a.m.

Nursery

Nursery care is available during the 9:15 morning worship services for children ages birth through two years. The nursery is staffed by members of our church family. The nursery is located on the floor below the sanctuary. (You'll find the stairs through the doors at the front of the sanctuary.)

The Gospel For Children

The entire church family gathers for worship on Sunday morning. Children are regularly invited to the chancel during the 9:15 a.m. service for a short message by the minister. This is one way in which the Church acknowledges the importance of young people.

The Sacraments

The Reformed Church in America celebrates two Sacraments - Holy Baptism and Communion. The Sacraments give people a unique kind of nourishment as we affirm God's unlimited grace. Baptism may be arranged by request. The Lord's Supper is celebrated during both services, typically on the first Sunday of the month as well as Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday.

Special Services

Evening worship is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Christmas Eve worship includes traditional candelight services offered in the later afternoon and evening. In addition, the Senior High Youth Fellowship leads worship once a year on Youth Sunday.

Coffee Fellowship

From 10:15 - 11:00 a.m. all are invited to a coffee fellowship in Fellowship Hall. Members of our church family serve light refreshments, and the congregation and visitors have the opportunity to meet and greet each other informally.  During the summer months (mid-June through Labor Day) we gather on the front patio (weather permitting) of the church following the 9:15 a.m. service for light refreshments.
