Pave the Way – Capital Campaign

We stand at the threshold of an incredible journey together – one that will shape the future of our beloved church and

community!  With great joy and anticipation, we unveil “Pave the Way,” our visionary three-year capital campaign set to transform our church into a beacon of hope, hospitality, and lasting legacy.

Exciting new plans are in place as we reconstruct the parking lot, redesign the Route 537 driveway, reduce indebtedness, replenish reserves to proactively address capital expenses, and recommend funding for new ministry opportunities.  These require funding – thus this capital campaign is in the works.

Informational sessions (see below for the schedule) will be held throughout the fall leading up to Pledge Sunday, November 24th, 2024.

Let’s pave the way, together!

FAQS

What is the church’s mission?

Our aim is to be a growing, relevant, active, inclusive, caring, compelling, and empowering place for all those who connect with us so that all would grow in the knowledge, grace, and hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

We do that by Confessing that Jesus is Lord, Nurturing our faith through life-long learning, Reflecting our faith through worship and witness, and Carrying out our faith through everyone’s involvement in ministry.

What is the name of this Capital Campaign and why?

“Pave the Way” indicates that we are a forward-looking congregation, improving the safety and site-plan of our campus with a new driveway/parking lot as its centerpiece. This also connects to the Bible’s calling the earliest Christians “people of the Way.” (Acts 9:2)

What is the vision for the campaign and its related projects?

We are tuning up our programming, our buildings, our traffic flow, and our strategies in order to be ready for the future into which God is leading us as a
congregation. In other words, we seek to:

  • Expand Ministry and Mission
  • Increase Hospitality and Safety
  • Create a Lasting Legacy

What is the purpose of the campaign?

The purpose of the campaign includes a financial goal and a spiritual quest. The financial goal perhaps is the most evident: raising the capital necessary to ready our buildings and grounds for the future. The spiritual quest is a calling that we increasingly grow connected to God and to on

Generosity Guide

How does one decide how much to give to the “Pave the Way” Capital Campaign? That’s between you and God. There is a scripture passage that says, “Not everyone has been blessed in a similar way”. Sacrificial giving is an element of the Christian faith. Whatever amount you give will represent something that is a heartfelt spiritual decision and not simply an afterthought or an obligation.
