Palm Sunday, April 14th – Worship services at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. What a welcome Jesus got as he entered Jerusalem. “Hosanna!”, the people cried, hailing him as an honored king. “Hosanna” means “save us now” – a cry of acclamation and hope – but Jesus’ kingdom is not earthly and our salvation is not one found by war and weaponry. Instead, God calls us to put our faith in God's unending love and grace – something that will never go away and will sustain us forever. Our Cherub, Alleluia, Angel, and Jubilation! choirs share their musical talents at both morning worship services. Palms will be given to all worshipers as a symbol of the day and a means of remembering our role in the eternal drama of salvation.
