Sanctuary
Easter Sunday, April 21st – Easter festival services of worship resounding with sounds of “He is risen!” and the beauty of lilies and tulips. Worship times are: 7:00 a.m. (Easter dawn service), 9:15 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. The dawn service will be held outside, weather permitting, in the cemetery adjacent to the church (use the regular parking lot). Dress comfortably; we stand through this 35-minute service. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held inside the Sanctuary. Jesus’ rising on Easter morning was more than a showy miracle to shock his attackers and awe his followers. When Jesus rose, he turned the entire order of the universe on its head. The Resurrection shows us that Death does not have the last word. God has the last word, and that word is Life. Suffering and Death end, but God's Kingdom lasts forever. The Sanctuary Choir and Exultation Ringers will offer music at the two later, identical services. Nursery care and a message for the children will also occur during both the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. services. Church school and youth choir rehearsals are suspended on this day
