In addition to giving weekly and regularly of our tithes and gifts, which supports the ongoing organizational and benevolence work of the congregation, there are three special funds to which people can give "over and above" donations. For example, our Memorial Fund is where donations are directed when, after someone has died, there is a request that "in lieu of flowers, gifts be given to the Colts Neck Reformed Church." This fund is used to support special worship needs/opportunities. There is also an Endowment Fund, which is where people can direct larger gifts from their estate as part of their will; this fund keeps the principle intact and the interest is used for mission and start-up ministries. There is also a Good Samaritan Fund, which is used at the pastors' discretion to help people in need.
